The Arrivistes

After a year abroad, two traveling companions of humble birth have returned to town with a grand surprise: they are engaged, both of them, to a pair of stylish and fabulously wealthy Americans. Previously overlooked in society, the two couples suddenly find themselves the talk of the town, invited through doors that have never been open to them before. 

The problem is, the engagements aren’t real. And neither is the money. The foursome have undertaken a seemingly-impossible gambit: use their supposed wealth as their ticket to high society, and find a way to stay there.

The Arrivistes is a playset for Good Society by Storybrewers Roleplaying. Four players will play as two "couples" in a coordinated fake-engagement scheme. This playset includes five new desires, which can also be used in any Good Society game.
